DQ VIII & Prince of Persia

Still muddling through DQ 8, made it to the cursed castle, had to come out to recharge and finally found Smiley Slime. Started PoP via Gamefly. Pretty good so far, took a bit to get used to the jump mechanic. Combat is okay, still eludes me a little.

Dragon Quest VIII - Pickham & Red

South to the cabin and Pickham, geared up slightly and went to Red. Went onto the dungeon for the Venus Tear and bit it. Re-loaded, rounded up two marks out of three (Smiley Slime, where are you?) and back to the cave. Went through directly (didn't find a map the second time) and beat the chest. Fought our way back out and back to town.

Dragon Quest VIII

Knocked the king of Ascantha out of his reverie. We headed south from Emma's grandmother's house along the coast and found the mountain with ruins atop it after stumbling into a dungeon. Brought the moon-man back to the king and voila!

Dragon Quest VIII

Well, tried Kingdom Hearts for a little while, not really my bag. We have started DQ8, which is going well. Passed through the first town and now through Alexandra. We've met Jessica, but haven't had her join the party yet.

Kingdom Hearts - Wonderland

Started up a save game with my daughter and we're playing Kingdom Hearts. We got through Traverse Town, but I've restarted to grind up a little and get more items before heading off to world one - Wonderland.

Okami - End Game

Well, finished with 50 hours, 666 demons killed. That last battle against the big sphere was a little irritating, but NOT as irritating as having to kill 5 of the bosses from earlier in the game to get to that point, one of which you've beaten TWICE already. Very enjoyable game, though. Could have done without the third act, I think.

Okami - Oni Tower

We're crawling through the monster tower. I've cheated and looked ahead a little. We're almost to the boss, but then we go back to the open world again. We're at about 35 hours. I have confidence that this game might never end. We're probably going to clock in at 45 hours to complete this sucker.
